KIDS FILMMAKING COMPETITION

CINECAST ASIA 2012 is looking for young, creative writers and filmmakers to participate in the Kids Filmmaking Competition. This Competition is all about getting young people to use real Filmmaking techniques to create their own short animation. The Winner will be awarded a 1st Place Production Award among other fantastic prizes! Those who want to learn the basics of Filmmaking before entering this Competition may choose to attend the Kids Filmmaking Bootcamp which is designed to teach young people about the creative processes involved in Filmmaking. The theme of the film sent for this Competition is “ A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned“ . The length should be 3-5 mins. Winners will be announced during the Expo at 4pm 19 OCTOBER 2012 at MARTRADE EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION CENTRE, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA.

ELIGIBILITY

This Competition is open to kids and young teens from the age of 9-15 from MALAYSIA

HOW TO ENTER

1) Competition Entry Form icon link below and print it out.

2) Complete and Courier/Mail your Entry Form with the following :

a) Digital Film entry up to 3-5 mins on DVD/ Blu-Ray regardless of original shooting format.

b) Entry Fee – RM 30

You may send as many films as you want! There is no limit to the number of entries that you may submit. Each entry requires a separate DVD /BLU-RAY, entry form and entrance fee.
