JON RAMLAN

Jon has been in the industry for more than 20 years. His work encompasses almost all aspects in media production, from conceptualization to direction to production and post, and had recently been a technical consultant. He was also a lecturer to some of the premier educational institutions for media and the arts namely, AIT Academy; Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore; Lasalle-Sia College of the Arts; AKINDO (Jogjakarta)- Communication Academy of Indonesia. Film & Television Studies. His academic qualifications that include a bachelor's degree in fine arts (Film & TV) from QUT (Australia), certificates in photography, camerawork, cinematography, graphics design, editing, teaching & learning (La-salle SIA College of the Arts), and an advanced diploma in business management . Jon holds accreditations from various industry-related organizations, such as Golden Key International Honour Society; Australian Cinematography Society (ACS); the International Freelance Photographers Organization (IFPO); American Image Press (AIP); International Professional Managers Association (MPMA); and was a part of the Course Advisory Committee, Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts (School of Drama). He had been given the Friends of the Arts award 2001 by the National Arts Council - Singapore (NAC); and a 10 Year's Long Service Award by then Television Corporation of Singapore in January 1996. Recently produced a pictorial journal title Merapi Beauty. Its an active volcano which erupts in 2006 in Jogjakarta (Indonesia)
